  1. Whiteline swaybar settings

hard front will induce much understeer soft front will induce much over steer it's a balance, I would recommend medium front and soft rear... do a few laps.. then reassess, if the car understeers still bump up the rear... if the car becomes too twitchy drop both to soft

Another one! Make and model: 180SX Type-X Size of engine: 2.0L, SR20DET Blacktop Modifications to the car: Stock (Cams/Valves/HG/Studs) + Nistune Feature Pack, Nismo 555cc, Wallah Bro 255, Z32 AFM Type of turbo: GT2860R 0.64 on Linglong stainless manifold which I believe is attributing to lag When does vehicle reach full boost and what PSI: 4100rpm for 1bar a bit more for 1.3bar (lazy 7psi gate) Does the vehicle have Cams? Stock What lift/duration etc: Stock Max power achieve At what boost: 209kW @ 1.3bar, bleeds down to 1bar up top thus won't make anymore power. Tuner: Johnny from trak-life.com Notes: Good fun, made it super rich and low with timing because it's a drift pig
  3. Nistune worth it for s15 stock turbo 14psi?

and I can supply, tune too
  4. CA18DET Cams options

yeah nah... GTX2860 will destroy a GT2871 in terms of response & transient people say GTX is laggier, yes because essentially it's a larger compressor wheel (extended tip).. might be a "60mm" exducer but measuring it will be closer to a 63mm exducer back on topic, go higher lift cams where possible don't focus too much on duration
  5. car has been running like shit

    yeah jam in more boost..
  6. car has been running like shit

    jam in loads more boost

Another S15 I tuned over the weekend Make and model: S15 Silvia Size of engine: 2.0L, SR20DET VCT Modifications to the car: Stock (Cams/Valves/HG/Studs) + Nistune Feature Pack, Zeitronix ECA 2, FPR1200, Nismo 740cc, Wallah Bro 255, R35 AFM, 3" TBE Type of turbo: Stock When does vehicle reach full boost and what PSI: 3300rpm 1.3bar Does the vehicle have Cams? Stock What lift/duration etc: Stock Max power achieve At what boost: 215kW @ 1.3bar, bleeds down to 1bar up top thus won't make anymore power. Tuner: Johnny from trak-life.com Notes: Full Flex tune, runs any fuel. Car fries tyres hard due to the massive surge in torque!
  8. go 10 tenths if the cunt is thrashed off it's tits.
  9. put in a S15 ecu OR run S14 injectors OR get it Nistuned, I can supply and tune for you if you're in Sydney. edit.. you are already running the S14 injectors. perhaps smoke test it and unplug the stock narrow band o2, it could be applying a long term fuel trim.
  10. Semi Slick Track Tyres

NT01 are ok, but experiencing Z221 or the likes is just like comparing vanilla to salted caramel
  11. I say go nistune or find an used Haltech Sports 1000. All the time and effort spent on the microtech isn't with it.
  12. S13 sr20det problems!

Sounds like stock O2 is cactus and your ECU is over compensating the long term fuel trims... I would start with that then work through/down PMod's list
  13. I would run a separate power feed to three HID setup. Some have huge current demands on initial startup. Battery -> fuse -> wiring-> HID

Another S15 I tuned over the weekend Make and model: S15 Silvia Size of engine: 2.0L, SR20DET VCT Modifications to the car: Stock Motor, ARP Studs Type of turbo: GTX2867 0.64 When does vehicle reach full boost and what PSI: 4500rpm @ 1.6bar (VCT is fucked) Does the vehicle have Cams? Tomei 256 Poncams What lift/duration etc: Supertech Springs Max power achieve At what boost: 272kW @ 1.6bar, tapering down to 1.5bar (weak actuator) Tuner: Johnny from trak-life.com
  15. turbo really worth it

GTX2871 no good Too much compressor for turbine. GTX2867 or get a man turbo GTX3071
  16. feel free to ignore, but how about go back to the stock ECU and run a Nistune? Your car will run better than the Microtech, will have launch control, will have full flex support when paired with an ethanol sensor
  17. I've tuned many cars from this very forum
  18. Nismo injector id help

    photo of the tip please
  19. car has been running like shit

take a photo of all the plugs side by side and post it up
  20. Running rich after installing EBC

Maybe your Nistune has been dialled in with heaps of fuel if you accidentally over boost it and/or hit areas of the map that you normally don't hit. Now you've probably fouled your plugs
  21. Touch up tune for similar turbo?

where are you located? what ecu? if you want a touch up I can do it and if you want it on a dyno I can also help with that and tune it on the dyno.
  22. Microtech are hilarious, need to change trigger settings? send ECU back to them. I'm no help here lol.. if you need tuning help with Haltech, Adaptronic, Vipec, Link, Nistune (I'm a dealer for Nistune) I can help there.
  23. Semi Slick Track Tyres

Z221 Hankook is a good semi. The ones you've listed in bold are NOT semis, regardless of what every tyre shop says. I would go RS3 for a car that's mainly for street use.
  24. how come you put another microtech in? they're worse than the stock ECU on Nistune which can control full flex, boost by fuel compensation and supports full launch. Not to mention costs under 350$
  25. Cams, vct, lag

may be an issue with VCT or issue with flow (exhaust and/or intake)
