The 10 Commandments

lol. At this thread, and it's direction.

BTW, Wog is short for Golliwog and was originally used by the colonial era British Empire to label people from India. Then further on North Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East and basically anyone with different skin colour to their own. Was considered a racist term because of the standing they had with people of said backgrounds, and was shunned. The word popped up in usage a number of times. It was also, again, associated with bad things such as sickness etc. because of it's past usage in relation to the connotations with the people of the aforementioned countries.

I also just recently discovered that the word Wog is used by Scientologists to label non-scientologists. It is actually an acronym for Worthy Oriental Gentleman, and was invented by the creator of Scientology - L. Ron Hubbard - From England's time in Egypt.

Us wogs will take over the world one day.... I swear to god.

WOG & WOP were terms used to describe (predominantly European) immigrants that attempted to enter the country without proper paperwork. see, you wogs were trying to rort the system before you'd even entered the country.

WOG - Without Greencard was stamped on paperwork

WOP - Without Passport (american term)

wog is now a term used to describe somebody in a negative manner, whereas it used to be acceptable. i've got polish, greek, italian, lebanese mates and i'd be pissed if somebody called them a wog - that might be due to the fact that i see 'wogs' as stereotypical hektik uleh kents with adidas snap pants, a bum bag and no idea how to wear a baseball cap properly

ok so now I know what a muzztek is, what is dosing???

dosing is THE TU TU TU noise that comes out of those destroyed VL turbo's Basically air intake is replaced wit a pipe just clamped on the front of the turbo and the air flow meter is placed in the cooler piping and the compresser surge just go's into the turbo making that stoopid noise and destroying the turbo in the process by making the turbine spin the other way wen air hits in. there also vunerable to rocks and water which turbo's normally shoodnt have inside them. soo its basically a set up to show off and to blow your turbo.

just a basic some up.

I have put in bold what you need to actually look up and find out how it really works. It does NOT damage the turbo. I'm pretty sure there is an article (well there was) written by dumhead in the articles section.. but better yet, go to a performance dealer/specialist and they should be able to explain how flutter actully works for you. I have made a topic on it also, but it was a while back now. Just don't go saying things when it isn't fact.. I really don't like it, considering when someone DOES get the wrong info, there are about 5 threads instantly made in different sections asking what the problem is.. then about 30 different people will reply having no clue either, so opinion gets circulated, not factual info.

Mate i have plenty of mates that drive VL turbo's all with dose pipes and you can ask anyone that has a VL turbo themselves with a dose pipe on it, that this destroys your turbo unless u have a pod or mesh attached to the end of it. go to calaisturbo forum and look it up plenty of threads on it. will prove what i basically briefly explained.

Yeh.. AND? I also have mates that drive VLs. whats your point?

When you say

that this destroys your turbo unless u have a pod or mesh attached to the end of it

well NO SHIT. im not suprised AT ALL. if the air isn't filtered, then you'll be picking up all kinds of shit off the road.. and that shit will be running directly through your turbo. *rolls eyes*

I believe the point I was making (if you re-read my post) was that, the compressor surge barely does a thing to your turbo in the long run. maybe if your running 30psi then you have a reason to be worried, but you would be more worried about running that boost, than getting compressor surge. seriously.. do some research. or if u want, ill go find all the links about it.

I'm sure the calaisturbo forum is very informative about what it compressor surge does to your turbo

and yes, i have read the various 'dose pipe' threads plastered about that forum.

look man, i didn't give the bloke a full out description of what a dose was, i gave him a sum up so he could understand the basic principles, and nothing is wrong with what i said. but i stand by what i said when i said it damages the turbo.

LMFAOROFL!!!

Flutters damages turbo's uleh..

what a load of crap...

It's just the backpressure from the turbo - as in the turbo keeps spinning after u let off the gas, when the pressure in the intake (you know what i mean) is higher than the pressure from the turbo the air comes back out. The tsu tsu you hear is the turbo fins cutting through the air in the wrong direction. No damage done unless as stated running an insane amount of boost.. My explanation isn't great as im keeping it brief, but Shark is completely correct..

Merlz, do your mates run their VL's w/out some sort of filtration?

If they do... then their turbo's won't be tsu tsu tsu'ing much longer...
