Car Cakes

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I thought I would post this up as it got some interest on the SAU Forum. Basically, my mrs is a pastry chef by trade and has been making cakes for quite a few years now.

It started off with making a few cakes for friends, then friends of friends asking for cakes to be made as well.

She made a cake for one of my mates girlfriends, who is a member on SAU. She posted up the pics and got a bit of a response so I thought I would share it with you guys.

If people are interested in Sydney/Wollongong areas, then I thought it would be nice to let members on here spoil themselves, friends or loved ones with their own edible cake.

Some pics of the R34 she done recently:

There are a few more cars she has done, but no S13,14,15 etc at the moment.

SAU Thread

Cheers,

Any fillings you want, yeah front, back, sides and a few angle shots. If they have specific wheels and stuff up close shots too.

Prices vary depending on size and weight of the cake. There not a $50-100 cake though, lots of detail go into them :)

omg s13 and 180 cakes are awesome. I'd want an s14 one too, but wouldn't wanna eat em. just admire JDMcake

Question: to those who make/bake these cakes.. can you guys, if you wanted, put like 4degrees neg camber on the rears, make it have stretched tyres, and have a little rake?

There is probably a good 10+ hours in that though! So not bad for skilled work, but it balances out.

Based in Wollongong.

Also as EDD-GTR said, the cakes take in excess of 10-15 hours, depends how detailed you go.

Also size and weight is a killer to and mud cake is the heaviest :P

Cakes are of many designs in old years there is no opportunity of making the cakes but now a days this is applicable. I believe bestessay review is best in getting the orders of making the online cake.
